Love this place so much. So much attention to detail anyone who loves culture and true quality will really appreciate this place, and if your lucky you will share your breakfast with the lady of the house, who's profound knowledge and wisdom I was lucky to enjoy. Can't wait to return, I recommend the French suite

Ford House is beautiful, unique accommodation in Bridgetown which is a town full of character and beauty. This is not just a bed and breakfast, this is a experience. The original house was built in 1896 and is full of gorgeous antiques and art. The newer buildings are decorated tastefully and provide the more luxurious rooms with ensuites and spas. My favourite place is the beautiful 100 year old barn where the guests can sit on a huge communal table and share stories surrounded by beautiful things. I have stayed here many times and will always come back. The shop is the most unique shop in Australia and has to be seen to be believed. It is crammed with beautiful gifts. I have learnt to take a list of people I have to buy gifts for so I can get all my shopping done. There is something for everyone. All this set on the banks of the Blackwood River, with free range geese and lots of birds and frogs. It is charming and wonderful. This is a rural setting not some slick, sterile concrete hotel. Enjoy this unique, charming beautiful place for what it is! A one of a kind treasure.

Beautiful surroundings will definatley stay here next time i go to Busselton. Went to look around the craft emporium which is huge lots of beautiful stalls outside and different nooks inside selling a big variety of handmade goods aswell as other gift ware. The Christmas barn outside has to be seen to be believed it is absolutley gorgeous.
