At $30 a plate this was extremely disappointing.

While the waitress was very friendly in the begining, her tone changed when I responded to her inquiry on how the meal was. I told her it was disappointing because the fish was badly overcooked. At that point her mood turned cold and uncaring. No apology or even slight interest in what went wrong. She just told me what I needed to pay. Not even a thank you.

It's a watering hole that caters for the thirsty traveller. Grab a feed and listen to some love music if your timings right..

A terrible experience. My partner and I ordered the fish with prawns in garlic sauce. The fish was badly over cooked (like rubber) as were the prawns. The vegies were also overcooked: soft and bordering on mushy. Garlic sauce was flavorless.

Spare yourself the insult and drive on another 30 mins to Manji where you can get a fantastic prawn linguine for less $$ at Tall Timbers, and be served by people who actually seem to care about the food they serve.

What a wonderful menu lots of options and the portion sizes were enormous no complaints there The food was excellent so much so that not only did we call in on our trip down to Balingup but made a stop on our way back to Perth Lots of vegetarian options and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends
