  Wonderful renovations, big bathrooms, Rooms open up to the big verandah for views on main street with each having own alfresco seating. My only complaint was the heavy trucks passing at 2am 3am 4 am its loud. Its 4am now here, post office has forklift going for star track guy :) Super nice wait staff, shout out to the lady with long dark brown hair :) We had the steak sandwich (was ok ,expected standard pub sanga, good turkish bread) and a mushroom bruscetta (entree, tasty morsels small mushrooms, again good bread) as we had a late lunch. Cakes and cookies were above average, they were every ladies high tea dream and I dont think they looked bought in either, maybe made on premise? Lunch was busy and for a Tuesday, dinner service was busy, so you know this place is good if theyre pulling in people like that. The Bridgetown hotel wowed me in renovations like the Guilford hotel did for me, its real nice. These damn trucks dont quit on a Wednesday early morning and the forklift is still going at the post office at 5 am. I will say Mr forklift is kind enough to not have the reversing Beep beep beep going :) who knows if your going on a weekender not a weekday (less traffic /workers) or allready live near major traffic at your doorstep you may not notice it. The complimentary continental breakfast is quality stocked.

  Really enjoyable for a drink and a meal. Standard country pub fare. Friendly staff.

  Asian salad was tasty. Most dishes looked well cooked. Fish was a bit over cooked
